A fantastic BPAA Charity Sports Day

Throwback to a fantastic afternoon at Clifton College Pavilion

A few weeks on, and this brilliant video perfectly captures what was a fantastic afternoon at Clifton College Pavilion, bringing together the Bristol property community for cricket, netball, networking and fundraising for Young Bristol and Alzheimer's Research UK.

Netball Tournament

The BPAA Mixed Charity Netball Tournament was a huge success in its debut year at the new venue, with more than 75 players taking part from teams representing CMS, Rappor, Hollis Morgan Estate Agents & Auctioneers, Lcp Properties Inc, Cushman & Wakefield, Workman LLP, Mace and the Bristol Property Agents Association (BPAA) Invitation Team.

The tournament saw teams battle it out across two courts in a fast-paced group stage competition, with the standard of play earning rave reviews from players and spectators alike. Special mention must go to our excellent (and slightly terrifying!) umpires who kept everything running smoothly.

Reigning champions Mace topped their group to face CMS in an epic final. With the scores level at full time and still tied after extra time, the match went to sudden death. CMS held their nerve to score the decisive goal and lift the trophy in dramatic fashion.

Residential vs Commercial Cricket

The annual cricket match once again delivered plenty of entertainment. Batting first, the Residential Agents posted 125-9 from their 20 overs, with Noah Cooper scoring a quickfire 35* and Jack Davies MRICS taking four wickets.

The Commercial Agents looked to be cruising thanks to Chris Miles' unbeaten 35, before a flurry of wickets created a tense finish. In the end, back-to-back boundaries from a resplendent Peter Musgrove saw Commercial reach the target with just two balls to spare and claim bragging rights for another year.

Thanks to umpires Russell Crofts and Adam Martin and scorers Nic Rumble MRICS and Nick Allan and walk out music from Finola Ingham FRICS Ingham.

A huge thank you to Signboard UK for sponsoring the event, and to everyone who played, supported and volunteered throughout the day.

Grab a coffee, press play and enjoy a look back at one of the highlights of the BPAA calendar. - https://lnkd.in/p/egEB3_J5
